Laois gardaí have seized a car from a motorist who was stopped for speeding.
Gardaí said “Laois Roads Policing Unit detected this vehicle travelling at 70kph in a 50kph area of Portlaoise. The vehicle was neither taxed or insured when it was stopped.”
They said the Renault car was seized and court proceedings have been commenced against the driver.
