Accused of careless driving causing harm on the N80 in Laois

The incident took place in June 2023

Man remanded on €35,000 Laois drugs charge

A woman appeared in court accused of careless driving causing serious bodily harm on the N80 in Laois. 

Rachel Brophy (28) of Cloneybeacon, Ballickmoyler is accused of careless driving causing serious bodily harm to a woman on the N80 at Corbally, Ballylinan on June 11, 2023. 

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said the case was to be heard in the circuit court and he requested six weeks to prepare the book of evidence. 

Judge Andrew Cody remanded the case back to Portlaoise District Court on February 27.
