Portlaoise District Court
Two men will appear before Portlaoise District Court on Thursday afternoon, February 6 in connection with a massive drug seizure in Laois.
Over €14 million worth of drugs were seized on Tuesday following searches in Mountmellick and a number of other locations.
"Two of the men, both aged in their 40s, who were arrested in connection with this investigation have been charged," said a Garda spokesperson.
"They are expected to appear before Portlaoise District Court this afternoon, Thursday 6th February 2025 at 2pm.
"A third man, aged in his 50s, arrested in relation to this incident has been released without charge. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. Investigations are ongoing."
