Man accused of possession of drugs for sale or supply in Laois

A man appeared in court accused of having drugs for sale or supply in Mountmellick. 

Jordan Lee (26) of 5 The Granary, Pearse Street, Mountmellick is accused of having cannabis at Pearse Street on January 21 last and having cannabis for sale or supply at his address on the same date. 

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said he didn’t have directions in relation to the case. 

“It is over the amount that I can direct on,” he told the sitting of Portlaoise District Court

Judge Susan Fay adjourned the case back to Portlaoise District Court on April 7 for DPP directions. She granted legal aid to Solicitor Josephine Fitzpatrick.
