Man accused of trespass and criminal damage in Laois

The incident is alleged to have occurred in Portlaoise

A man appeared in court accused of trespass and criminal damage in Portlaoise. 

Jake Moore (20) of 10 Colliers Wood, Portlaoise appeared before Portlaoise District Court via video link. He is accused of trespass at a house in Cherrygrove, Portlaoise and with causing criminal damage to the living room window of a neighbouring house on February 18 last. 

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said the defendant was remanded in custody on February 19. He requested a further two week remand. 

Judge John Brennan adjourned the case back to Portlaoise District Court on March 10 for DPP directions.
