Gardaí probe bizarre theft at Dunnes Stores

Gardaí are investigating a bizarre theft at Dunnes Stores in Co Kildare. 

A large quantity of detergent worth over €1,000 was taken from a container on the grounds of the supermarket in Naas between Thursday, March 6, and Saturday, March 8.

Gardaí believe the occupants of a black Peugeot 308 hatchback with a partial registration plate of '12 LS' were involved.

The Laois registered vehicle was seen approaching the container a number of times during the time period. 

The car was last seen heading towards the M7 on March 8.

Anybody with information on the incident is asked to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
