Gardaí arrested a van driver on suspicion of drink driving in Laois earlier today.
Laois Offaly Gardaí said the driver was stopped by gardaí on patrol.
“Laois Roads Policing Unit on patrol stopping this vehicle today in Killeshin.The driver behind the wheel was drunk,” gardai stated on social media.
They arrested the driver and said court proceedings have commenced.
