The Ford Mondeo seized by Laois Gardaí

A driver in Laois has lost a big gamble, after being arrested to now face multiple court charges on driving and drug offences.

Laois Gardaí stopped and arrested a learner driver on the M7 motorway, calling 'bingo' after they found every rule broken in the book.

Laois Roads Policing Unit report on Thursday July 10 that they recently stopped a Ford Mondeo on the M7.

"M7 Motorway Bingo – Full House! Let’s just say, the driver really committed to breaking the rules," they say on a social media post.

The Gardaí firstly discovered that the driver was a Learner, unaccompanied.

They also had no car insurance, no NCT and their tax was out nearly two years.

Cannabis was then found in the glovebox of the car, and the driver tested positive for cocaine.
