Offices ransacked during burglary in Laois

Laois Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to the burglary of a commercial premises in Portlaoise last week. 

Gardaí in Portlaoise said a number of offices were ransacked during a burglary at an office block on Bridge Street in Portlaoise on Thursday night. The incident was reported to gardaí on Friday morning. 

Although a number of offices were ransacked, gardaí say there didn’t appear to be much damage. The owners are still trying to ascertain whether anything was taken during the burglary. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has information or who noticed anything suspicious in the area. They are also asking anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to contact them at Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 8674100.
