Man allegedly threatened to send grossly offensive communication  in Laois

Bail was granted to a man who allegedly threatened to send a grossly offensive communication in Laois.

Kyle Kilduff(28) of 7B New Row, Mountmellick Road, Portlaoise, was accused of threatening to send a grossly offensive communication at Rathmiles, Portarlington on August 27, 2025. 

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby told a sitting of Portlaoise District Court that DPP directions were awaited in the case. He said bail had been agreed for the defendant and he expected directions to take some time.

Hugo Millis BL said his client was in receipt of social welfare and he requested legal aid in the matter. 

Judge Catherine Hayden granted legal aid and remanded the defendant on bail and adjourned the case back to Portlaoise District Court on November 3.
