Laois Gardaí seized eight vehicles during multi-agency checkpoints throughout the county today.
Laois Roads Policing Unit conducted the checkpoints together with the representatives from the Road Safety Authority(RSA) and the Department of Social Welfare.
“A variety of offences detected including no insurance, no CRW(Certificate of Roadworthiness), no NCT, no tax, bald tyres and they met one chancer who produced a false driving licence,” Gardai stated.
They said eight vehicles were seized during the checkpoints across Laois.
