A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of a man who is accused of possessing stolen phones at the Electric Picnic in Stradbally.

Pelu Sava (37) of 18 Fortunestown Close, Tallaght, Dublin 24 is accused of handling stolen property at Electric Picnic in Stradbally on August 31, 2025. He is accused of possessing three stolen iPhones, a stolen Samsung phone and another stolen phone at the festival.  

Judge Susan Fay issued a bench warrant for his arrest when the defendant failed to turn up to a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.
