Woman denies stealing grave ornaments in Laois

A woman has denied stealing grave ornaments in Laois. 

Kathleen O’Shea (78) of 6 Doonane Road, Crettyard, is accused of stealing two grave lights from Oakvale, Stradbally, on dates between August 1 and December 16, 2024. 

Solicitor Barry Fitzgerald said his client was pleading not guilty and would require a hearing date. 

Judge Susan Fay adjourned the case to Portlaoise District Court on January 13.
