Portlaoise District Court
A court was told DPP directions are awaited in the case of a man who is accused of burglary in Laois.
Eduard Ionut (26) of 8 Orlagh Grange, Knocklyn, Dublin is accused of burglary at Room 4, Ballycarnan Lodge, Portlaoise on November 2 last.
Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby told a sitting of Portlaoise District Court that a “pretty large file” had been compiled on the matter.
Judge Andrew Cody adjourned the case back to Portlaoise District Court on February 15, 2026 for DPP directions.
