Gardaí are investigating the alleged assault of a man in Laois.
A man in his 60's was allegedly assaulted outside a business premises in Clough, in the early hours of Friday December 19.
The man was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise for non-life threatening injuries.
A garda representative told the Leinster Express / Laois Live that investigations are ongoing.
