Tool worth €600 allegedly stolen from locked car in Laois

Gardaí are investigating the alleged theft of a valuable tool from a vehicle in Laois this week.

A diagnostic tool  reportedly worth €600 was allegedly stolen from a vehicle on Portarlington's Link road on Saturday March 21.

The theft occurred any time between 9am and 3pm. The vehicle was allegedly rummaged through, while the car was locked.

There was no damage sustained to the vehicle.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact Portlaoise garda station.
