Gardaí are appealing for information following a burglary at a charity’s premises in Laois at the weekend.
Portlaoise Gardaí said the burglary occurred at a building which is used by the Muíriosa Foundation at Gandon Court, Fairgreen in Portlaoise between Friday, March 27 and Monday, March 30.
The Muíriosa Foundation supports autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities.

According to Portlaoise Gardaí, burglars gained entry to the property which is used by the charity in Portlaoise and caused damage to equipment.
They are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious or has any CCTV footage from the area to contact them at Portlaoise Garda Station.
