Laois gardaí have seized an amount of drugs and cash this weekend.
On Sunday April 12, gardaí carried out the search of a house in Acragar, Mountmellick under a warrant.
A large quantity of drugs was allegedly found at the scene. A garda spokesperson said the drugs reportedly carry an estimated street value of €7,000. A large amount of cash was also seized during the search.
A 25 year old male has been charged, and is due to appear before the courts.
