A fine was handed out to a man who parked a truck in a disabled bay without a permit.
Stevie Lee Holohan, 32, of 4 The Showgrounds, Rathdowney parked in a disabled bay on Main Street in Abbeyleix on May 16 last.
A sitting of Portlaoise District Court heard the defendant had no previous convictions.
Judge Andrew Cody fined the man €500 and gave him three months to pay.
