Portlaoise Garda Station
Gardaí are seeking the assistance of the public in advancing an investigation into an assault at a busy taxi rank in the heart of Portlaoise during the St Patrick's Day festivities.
Laois Offaly Gardaí said Portlaoise guards are investigating the assault that they say occurred near the taxi rank, Market Square aka Top Square, Portlaoise on Friday, March 18 at approximately 3am.
"We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone that may have information, witnessed an incident at the location , has mobile phone footage to come forward
"We are also interested in any dashcam footage from any vehicles parked at the taxi rank at the time," said the appeal.
