Man served with Book of Evidence over Laois robbery

A man was sent forward for trial to Laois Circuit Court in relation to a robbery in Stradbally last year. 

Joshua Brennan 20, 11 Rahin Road, Ballylinan, Laois was served with a book of evidence at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.

He is charged with the robbery of two wallets containing bank cards and approximately €500 in cash at Crannagh, Stradbally on April 21 last year. 

Judge Patricia Cronin granted legal aid and remanded the man on continuing bail. He is due to appear before  Portlaoise Circuit Court on May 31.
