Three men appear in court on charges relating to €90,000 drugs seizure in Laois

Three men have appeared in Portlaoise court facing charges in relation to the seizure of €90,000 worth of drugs in Portlaoise on Tuesday, May 10. 

David Gbalajobi, 21, of 25 Rathevan Close, Portlaoise was charged with possession and possession for sale of supply of cocaine and possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis at 51 Lake Drive, Kilminchy, Portlaoise on May 10. 

Ryan Fogarty, 18, of 51 Lake Drive, Kilminchy, Portlaoise was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of cocaine at that address and possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis at that address on May 10. 

Caleb Lifeta, 19, of 13 Conniberry Way, Portlaoise was charged with possession and possession for sale of cocaine and possession and possession for sale or supply of cannabis at 51 Lake Drive, Kilminchy on May 10. 

Garda Paul Kenny of the Laois Drugs Unit gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution. 

Aonghus McCarthy, solicitor for Mr Gbalajobi and Mr Lifeta said an application for bail for both men would be made on May 19. Both men were remanded in custody. 

Solicitor Barry Fitzgerald, appearing for Mr Fogarty, said that bail conditions were agreed for his client.
