Thousands of euro worth of cannabis edibles was recovered by Gardaí in Laois today.
Gardaí in Portlaoise recovered in excess of €15,000 (subject to analysis) worth of cannabis edibles packaged in popular American candy wrappers.
These products contain THC which is the psychoactive constituent of cannabis.
