A 36-year old man has been sent forward to trial to the Central Criminal Court on nine counts of rape and two counts of sexual abuse.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2002 and 2006, in Laois.
The man was sent forward at Thursday's sitting of Portlaoise District Court. Reporting restrictions were sought and granted to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
