Electric Picnic staff member accused of assault at the festival

The man was brought before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court
Gardaí confirmed a member of security staff at the Electric Picnic has appeared in court over an alleged assault.
The man was accused of assaulting a festival goer at Electric Picnic on Friday night or into the early hours of Saturday morning. He was arrested and questioned by Gardaí on Saturday.
Gardaí said he was brought before a sitting of Tullamore District Court at 9pm on Saturday night and has been released on bail.
