Louise Allen - Portlaoise
The death has occurred of the late Louise Allen (nee McGurk) Grattan Street, Portlaoise on January 15 peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of Bernie and the staff of Ballard Nursing Home in her 104th year.
Predeceased by her husband Martin, grandsons Brian and Eoin and her great-granddaughter Zoe. Deeply regretted by her loving son Martin, daughters Ann and Deirdre, sister Maura, daughter-in-law Carmel, sons-in-law Brendan and Mick, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Friday, January 17 from 6:30pm till 8pm with rosary at 7:30pm. Removal on Saturday to SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise for 2pm requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.
Joan Sheehan - Abbeyleix
The death has occurred of Joan Sheehan, Blackrock, Dublin formerly Abbeyleix peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin.
Predeceased by her brothers Fr. Joe and Seán (Jack) and sisters Maura, Fran and Kitty.
Very sadly missed by her loving family, her sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Paddy, nieces, Maria, Sheona, Clodagh and Cróna and her nephews, Bill, Cormac, Emmet and Rory, and extended family, friends and neighbours.
Removal on Monday morning, January 20 to the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am (which can be viewed live on this link https://www.churchservices.tv/booterstown followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park.
Michael J O'Brien - Stradbally
The death has occurred of Michael J O'Brien of Main Street, Stradbally peacefully in his 91st year surrounded by his loving family on January 15. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Molly of 67 years, his devoted daughters Sue, Gem and Rho, his adoring grandchildren Joey and Lucy, son-in-law Mario, brother-in-law Eamonn, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Removal from his home by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Saturday morning at 11:40am to arrive at the church of the Sacred Heart Stradbally (R32 WRH9) for 12 o'clock Requiem Mass, which can be viewed on https://svtparish.ie/webcam. Internment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Cloney, Ballyfin Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, formerly of Pinewood, Wexford Town.
Loving husband of Brenda, much loved father of Jane, Carlsen, John, and Daniel, and adored daideó of Sol, Saoirse, and Oisín.
Funeral mass will take place on Saturday 18 January at 12 noon requiem mass, at SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise.
Internment will follow in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
