Jim McDonald - Portarlington 

The death took place on July 11 of Jim McDonald, Ballycrossal, Portarlington, Co. Laois and formerly of Derrydavy, Mountmellick.

Jim died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Annie, his loving sister Ann, infant brother Thomas, brother-in-law Jack and nephew David.

Deeply regretted by his sisters Molly and Betty, brother Peter, brother-in-law Pat and sister-in-law Elsie. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephew, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing in Moloney's Funeral Home Mountmellick on Sunday from 4.30pm. Recital of the Rosary at 6pm. Funeral arriving to St Joseph's Church Mountmelllick via Connolly Street on Monday morning for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
