Seamus Behan - Ballyfin
The death took place on Sunday, September 21 of Seamus Behan, Esker More, Daingean, Offaly and late of Ballyfin, Co. Laois.
Seamus passed away (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne, at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Maureen. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Therese, children Sonia and her partner Conor, Karen, Stuart and his wife Elaine, grandchildren Jamie, Luke, Jack, Seanie, Noah, Charlotte and Lanah, brothers Donal, Tom and Val, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Seamus will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 VK24) this Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11:00am in Mary Mother of God Church, Daingean followed by burial in Cloncrane Cemetery Clonbullogue. Joe Molloy - Portlaoise
The death took place on Saturday, September 20 of Joe Molloy, Elm Lawn, Portlaoise, Laois / formerly Rossmore Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin.
Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Deeply regretted by his extended family, neighbours and friends, and his carers and home help team. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Keegans Funeral home Portlaoise on Tuesday from 5 pm until 6.30 pm. Cremation will take place at Newlands Crematorium on Wednesday at 12 noon.
Timothy O'Sullivan - Portlaoise
The death took place on Saturday, September 20 of Timothy (TJ) O'Sullivan, Donnybrook, Dublin and late of Portlaoise, Laois.
TJ died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his dear wife Úna (McCafferty) and by his brothers Dermot and Martin O’Sullivan. Adored father of Dervla and beloved grandfather of Hugh, Úna and Tadhg. TJ will be sadly missed by his sister Breda, son-in-law Ciarán, Elma, his nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.
Reposing at his daughter’s residence on Monday (September 22) from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday (September 23) at 10 am in Church of St’s Columbanus and Gall, Milltown, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.

Tom Mullally - Stradbally
The death took place on Saturday, September 20 of Tom Mullally, 7 Lower Woodview, Stradbally, Laois.
Tom passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Saint Vincent’s nursing home Mountmellick in the company of his beloved daughter Catherine, his granddaughter Shannon and Nell. Sadly missed by Bernard and Michael, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at No. 9 Woodview Stradbally until removal on Monday morning at 11 am to arrive at Oakvale cemetery for Interment.
House strictly private at all times.
William Murphy - Portarlington
The death took place on Friday, September 19 of William (Billy) Murphy, 12 Foxcroft Court, Portarlington, Laois
Formerly of Main Street Portarlington County Laois. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan, his parents William and Kathleen, sisters Rita and Bernie, sons-in-law Seamus and Robert. Much loved and sadly missed by his loving family Jean, Eddie, Una and Noel, sisters Ethna and Noreen ,brothers Christy, Timmy, PJ and Eugene, daughters-in-law Carol and Sinead, partners Paul and Tom, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends and by all who knew and loved Billy.
Reposed at the family home 12 Foxcroft Court Portarlington (eircode R32 NN24) on Sunday evening from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Monday morning at 11:15am (travelling via Main Street) arriving St Michael's Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery Portarlington.
