The death has occurred of John Keavey, Borris Road, Portlaoise. John passed away on March 18 peacefully in the loving care of Mowlan Nursing Home Sligo surrounded by his loving family. Retired Chief Officer of Portlaoise Prison and Wheatfield Clondalkin.
Predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Patricia and Siobhain and sons John and Paul. Adored grandad to Darren, Emma, Daniel, Oran, Kayley, Roan, Finn, Sinéad and Siobhán, great grandad to Lyla Rose, Rian Colby, Gracie mae and Amara, sons in law Tom and Eoin, daughter in law Nadine, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass on Saturday, March 21 at 2pm in SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
Niall Wallis - Rathdowney
The death has occurred of Niall Wallis, Coolkerry, Rathdowney, on March 17 unexpectedly after a short illness in the presence of his family at The Mater Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Maeve (née Gibbons).
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his brothers Kevin and Dermot (Derry), sister-in-law Marie, nieces Aisling and Éilís, nephew Gearóid, aunts Helen, Rose, Claire and Madeleine, uncle Noel, cousins, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Friday, March 20 from 6 pm pausing for prayers at 8 pm.
Removal on Saturday morning, March 21 to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.
Interment afterwards in the local cemetery, Rathdowney. Family flowers only please.

Annie Scully - Graiguecullen
The death has occurred of Annie Scully, (née Keating), of Ballyhide, Carlow and formerly St Fiacc’s Terrace, Graiguecullen, Co Carlow, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on March 18 at The District Hospital, Carlow.
Beloved wife of Jimmy, much-loved mother of Paul and Mark, adored grandmother of Cara, Rosie, Emily and Éimear and cherished sister of Nell, Bridget, Pauline, Teasie, Betty and the late Francie and Mary.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Alison and Róisín, sisters, brothers-in-law Michael, Pete, Mick and Tom, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Annie will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, Carlow (R93ET80) on Friday, March 20, from 4 pm, concluding with prayers at 7 pm that evening.
Removal from there on Saturday morning at 10.45 am, to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq arriving for the Cremation Service at 12.30 pm,
