Funeral arrangements for young Laois dad who died tragically at work in Dublin

A young Laois father will be laid to rest in Stradbally this weekend after being killed tragically in Dublin.

Alan Mulhall, of 15 Aghnaharna Drive, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise but from the Stradbally area, died on Thursday, November  23 in a workplace accident at a hospital where he was working in Dublin. 

Beloved husband of Vikki, (nee Doogue), Alan was a dear father to two sets of twins, Jamie, Sean, Holly and Tom. The children attended primary school in Portlaoise. He is also survived by heartbroken parents Frank and Patricia. 

Alan, an electrician, is deeply regretted by brothers Dáithí and Aidan and sister Rhonda, father-in-law Tom, mother-in-law Vivienne, uncles, aunts, brothers in law David, Darren and Keith, sisters in law Lisa, Laura and Susan, neighbours, relatives and work colleagues and many friends.

His remains will repose at his home on Saturday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral arriving at Church of The Sacred Heart Stradbally on Sunday for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Burial after in Oakdale Cemetery Family time on Sunday morning.

A Health and Safety Authority investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the death which occurred on Thursday morning.

He was employed by John Fletcher Electrical in Portarlington. The deceased was aged in his mid 30s.
