Deaths in La ois - January 31, 2018

James Butler - Errill

The death took place on Tuesday, January 30 of James Butler of Graigueavallagh, Errill. 

Peacefully in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Mountmellick. James, deeply regretted by his brother Fr. Kieran, his sisters Margaret (Duffy), Josephine (Lawlor), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney, on Thursday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady Queen of The Universe, Errill, on Friday at 12.30pm followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Mary O'Rourke - Emo 

The death took place on Tuesday, January 30 of Mary O'Rourke (née Mulhall) of Emo. 

Peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family. Previously in the care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington. Dearly beloved wife of the late Tom. Deeply regretted by her family Ann (Carthy) (Ballycrystal, Geashill), John Joe, Elizabeth Keane (Portlaoise), daughter-in-law Paula, sons-in-law John and Dan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Jim (Dublin), nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in her home on Thursday. Removal on Thursday evening at 7pm to St. Paul's Church, Emo arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon, burial after in the New Cemetery, Emo.

Margaret Kelly - Portlaoise

The death took place on Monday, January 29 of Margaret Kelly (née Muldowney) of New Road, Portlaoise and Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Abbey Nursing Home, Gowran. Margaret (Peg), beloved wife of the late Séan and dearly loved mother to Paul and Aidan. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter-in-law Lynnette, grandchildren Sarah, Robert, Jenny, Daniel, Lucy, Sam, and Aoife, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Paul's residence at Kellymount Rd., Paulstown from 3pm on Tuesday with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
