The death took place on Thursday, February 1 of Chrissie Breen (née O'Brien) of Sliabh Bloom Park, Clonaslee.
Peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Dearly loved wife of the late Paddy. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Mary, sons Michael, Joe, Johnny and Jimmy, grandchildren, son-in-law Gordon, daughters-in-law Carmel, Laura and Laura, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the residence of her daughter Mary and Gordon Murphy, (Clodiagh Way, Clonaslee), from 12 noon on Friday with Rosary on Friday Evening at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Manman's Church, Clonaslee with burial afterwards in St. Manman's Cemetery, Clonaslee.
Gertrude Brennan - Timahoe
The death took place on Thursday, February 1 of Gertrude (Gertie) Brennan (née Quigley) of Wellpark, Galway City and late of Timahoe.
Peacefully, in the care of the staff at Caiseal Geal nursing home. In her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill and much loved mother of Mary Holohan (Ballinasloe), Una Lalor, P.J, Olive (Raftery), Tim and Liam. Sadly missed by her daughters and sons, sisters Alice and Louise, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family funeral parlour, Mervue, Galway on Friday from 4.30pm with Removal to the Church at 6pm. Funeral after 10am Requiem Mass on Saturday to the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
Mary Maher - Cullohill
The death took place on Wednesday, January 31 of Mary Maher of Cullohill Mountain and Tyrrellspass, Westmeath.
Surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of the staff of Bethany House Nursing Home, Tyrellspass. Deeply regretted by her son David (Isle of Wight), sister Ann Tobin (Tullamore), brothers Michael (Cullohill) and John (London), family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Phelan's Funeral Home, Durrow from 6pm on Friday evening with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral prayers on Saturday morning at 10.15am followed by removal to St. Tighearnach's Church, Cullohill for Requiem Mass at 11am. Cremation afterwards.
James Butler - Errill
The death took place on Tuesday, January 30 of James Butler of Graigueavallagh, Errill.
Peacefully in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Mountmellick. James, deeply regretted by his brother Fr. Kieran, his sisters Margaret (Duffy), Josephine (Lawlor), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney, on Thursday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady Queen of The Universe, Errill, on Friday at 12.30pm followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.
