John O'Neill - Stradbally
The death took place on Monday, February 19 of John O'Neill of Church Avenue, Stradbally.
Peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved wife Annie, daughters Barbara and Stella, sons Martin, Brian, Colm, John and Dermot, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Tony, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
John will repose at his family home from 2pm on Tuesday with Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.
Christina Lalor - Mountmellick
The death took place on Monday, February 19 of Christina (Tina) Lalor (née O'Brien) of Townpark, Mountmellick.
Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Nora, sisters Maureen, Lucy, Nancy, sister-in-law Dolores, brothers Pauric, Tom, Mick and Sean. Deeply regretted by her husband Eamonn, daughters Fiona and Emma and grandson Eamonn, sister Lena O’Gorman (Clonmel), brother-in-law Tom, sisters-in-law Mary,Maisie, Nuala, Genieve and Rita, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7pm with Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Wednesday evening at 7.45pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick arriving for 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Mountmellick.
James Conroy - Emo
The death occurred on Sunday, February 18 of James (Jimmy) Conroy of Cappakeel, Emo.
Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Esther. Deeply regretted by his sisters, Lucy and Annie and brother Vincent, brother-in-law Patrick, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
Removal from 5.30pm in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Monday evening at 6.35pm arriving (via New Inn Cross) at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Emo, at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon and burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Douglas Gee - Mountrath
The death took place on Sunday, February 18 of Douglas Gee of Moonbawn, Mountrath.
Peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, husband of Ann, father to Trevor and Andrew, grandchildren Hannah, Sam and Charlie, daughters-in-law Trudy and Nicola, son of Inez and the late Sam; deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke's Funeral Home Mountrath on Monday afternoon from 2pm with Funeral Prayers at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon to St. Peter's Church Mountrath, for Funeral Service at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
Simon Dollard - Rathdowney
The death took place on Saturday, February 17 of Simon Dollard of Ballyedmond, Rathdowney and London.

Reposing in the Kennedy Family Home in Lacca from 5pm on Monday. Recital of the Rosary on Monday evening at 9pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.15am to St. Fergal's Church, Camross for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial after in St. Fergal's Cemetery.
