The death took place on Thursday, May 24 of Helen Ryan (née McGrath) of Clonin, Mountrath and late of Oxford. -
After an illness bravely borne at Dún Áine Suite, Mountmellick, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of Seamus and loving mother of Joseph, Eva, Annabelle and Luke. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband, children, sisters Susie, Siobhán, Tracey and Mary Jo, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at her home this Friday evening from 7pm, with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Saturday afternoon to St. Fergal's Church Camross, for Requiem Mass at 1pm, followed by Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Edward Lowry - Rathdowney
The death took place on Wednesday, May 23 of Edward Lowry of Cappalinnan, Rathdowney.
Peacefully in the presence of his family following a long illness bravely borne. Edward, predeceased by his father (Paddy). Sadly mourned by his loving wife Deirdre and his family, Padraig, Katie and Bríd, his loving mother Breda, his sisters Annette, Louise, Patricia and Breda, brothers-in-law Mícheal, Pat and Andrew, sister-in-law Paula (Corby), aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Friday from 4pm with funeral prayers at 7pm followed by removal to the Church Of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney. Family flowers only please, donations can be made at Edward's funeral to The Bone Marrow For Leukemia Trust.
Alice Kelly-Beere - Portlaoise
The death took place on Thursday, May 24 of Alice Kelly-Beere of Roskeen, Lombardstown, Portlaoise and Kilbranish.
In the tender loving care of Nuala and staff, Teach Altra, Newmarket, Alice (neé Power) wife of the late James Kelly and Paddy Beere and mother of the late Des, Richard, Cecil and Patricia. Deeply mourned by her loving sons James, Philip and Noel, daughter Eileen, sister Jenny, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Newmarket on Friday from 1.30pm to 3pm followed by removal to Lennon's Funeral Home, Bunclody. Reposing from 7pm to 9pm. Reception into St. Mary’s Church, Bunclody on Saturday at 10.30am for Funeral Service at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Sheila Conroy - Portlaoise
The death took place on Wednesday, May 23 of Sheila Conroy (née Higgins) of Glenlehan, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise, and late of Brocca and Roundhill, Clonaslee, and late of Lalor's Mills, Portlaoise.
Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Ballard Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Andy, brother Tom, sisters Sr. Daria, Breda and Máire. Sheila was a much loved aunt and grand-aunt, she will be sadly missed by her extended family, relatives and friends.
Her remains will repose at Keegan's Funeral Home, Portlaosie on Thursday evening with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in St. Manman's Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman's Cemetery, Clonaslee.
Br. John Roche - Castletown
The death took place on Wednesday, May 23 of Br. John Roche of De La Salle Brothers, Miguel House, Castletown and late of Carraganes, Ballydesmond, Co. Cork.
Predeceased by his sisters Margaret and Sheila, brothers David, Tobise, Dan, Andrew and Barty. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, friends and confreres in religion.
Reposing in Miguel House from 11am this Thursday with Evening Prayer and Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Liturgy and Mass on Friday at 2pm. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
