Kathleen Kirwan - Dublin and Laois
The death took place on Thursday, August 2 of Kathleen (Phill) Kirwan (née Fingleton) of Kimmage and Laois.
Peacefully, in the care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge. Beloved wife of the late Matthew, loving mother of Anne, Matthew, Jim and Mariesa and grandmother to Peter, Niamh, Eimear, David, Louisa, Eoin and Andrew. Sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Reposing at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor, Whitehall Road on Saturday morning, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
Dean Bergin - Portlaoise
The death took place on Wednesday, August 1 of Dean Bergin of St Johns Sq., Portlaoise.
Suddenly at his residence, Dean. Beloved son of Raymond and Martina and dearly loved brother to Maritina, Lisa and Sandra. Deeply regretted by his loving nephews and nieces, Lexie, Hannah, Keith, Jake and Dion. Extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence from 4pm on Thursday with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 11.30pm on Friday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Carol Sinnott - Ballybrophy
The death took place on Tuesday, July 31 of Carol Sinnott (née Bennett) of Ballybrophy and formerly of North Square, Inchicore, Dublin.
Peacefully at The Milford Hospice, Castletroy, Limerick. Predeceased by her son Brian, brothers Percy and Paul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Donal, daughters Laura and Edel, son Colm, brother Gordan, sister Von, son-in-law Ed, grandchildren Killian and Jamie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in her home this Thursday evening from 6pm with rosary in the house at 9pm. Removal this Friday morning at 10am to the Church of the Assumption, Killasmeestia for Funeral Mass at 10.30am, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Oliver Donohue - Portlaoise
The death took place on Friday, June 29 of Oliver Donohue of London and Grattan st., Portlaoise.
A Memorial Mass for Oliver will take place in Saint Peter and Paul’s Church at 10am on Saturday August 4th. His ashes will be interred in the family grave immediately afterwards. Oliver’s Funeral Mass and cremation took place in London on July 25th.
Norma Ludden - Portlaoise
The death took place on Thursday, July 26 of Norma Ludden of Clonminham rd, Portlaoise.
Deeply regretted by her loving brother Gerard, nephews Brendan, Fergus and niece Tracy and sister-in-law Eileen, relatives and friends and former colleagues in the ESB.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Thursday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to SS Peter and Paul's Church, for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery Portlaoise.
