Alo McEvoy - Portlaoise

The death took place on Saturday, December 29 of Alo McEvoy of St. Brigid's Place, Portlaoise.

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Alo beloved husband of the late Mary. Dearly loved father to Eileen, Peter, Tina, Alan, Séan, Imelda, Mary, Linda, Angela, and Majella. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sister Betty, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home from 6 pm on Monday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Tuesday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

George Shepherd - Trumera

The death took place on Saturday, December 29 of George Shepherd of
Trumera, Mountrath and late of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.

Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family. George, beloved husband of Mary. Dearly loved dad to Stephen and Ashleigh Shepherd, Vinny Stokes, Stephanie Stokes and Jennifer Fitzpatrick. Cherished grandad to Gavin, Aoife, Aidan, Steven, Mia, Freya and Jake. Deeply regretted by his loving family: sisters Julie and Barbara, son in law, David, daughters in law Caroline and Allison, close friends Terry and Brenda, Joe and Maidie , Enda and Nicola and his many friends and relations.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home, Portlaoise, on Tuesday  from 6pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Patrick Dunphy - Portlaoise

The death took place on Saturday, December 29 of Patrick Dunphy of
Corrib, Clonminan Rd, Portlaoise and Kilmeague, Kildare

Beloved husband of the late Judith and much loved father of Séan and Patricia. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law Micheál, grandchild Páraic,brother Joe, sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm with rosary recital at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday in SS Peter & Paul's Church, Portlaoise at 10am. Interment afterwards in Cullahill Cemetery. 

Edward Domican - Crettyard

The death took place on Saturday, December 29 of Edward Domican of
Clonbrock, Crettyard and formerly of Conroy Pk., Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Signature Care Nursing Home, Killerig, Co Carlow.
Beloved husband of Honora, much loved father of Theresa and adored grandfather of Dylan, Eve and Emma.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, sister Sr. Eugene (Waterford), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Barrack St., from 2pm on Monday with removal at 6.45pm to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Mary Brennan - Rathdowney

The death took place on Friday, December 28 of Mary Brennan of Cuan Bhríde, Rathdowney.

Peacefully in the care of the nurses and staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget. Mary, pre-deceased by her parents, sister and brothers. Sadly missed by her daughter Madeline and fondly remembered by her loving family, niece Marie, grandnieces Mary and Mairead, grandnephew Padraig, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Saturday evening from 4pm with funeral prayers at 9pm. Funeral mass on Sunday at 11am in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney followed by burial in St. Brigid's Cemetery Coan, Co. Kilkenny.
