The death took place on Friday, February 22 of Thomas (Tommy) Gorman of Spink, Abbeyleix.
Tommy (husband of the late Mona) died at his home. Father of Francie, Martin, James, Tommy and Liz (Kennedy). Sincerely regretted by his sons, daughter, brother (Fr. Charlie), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home from 11am on Saturday. Removal on Saturday evening at 7.40pm to St. Lazarian's Church, Knock arriving at 7.50pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm followed by burial in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Ballinakill.
Anne Dunne - Abbeyleix
The death took place on Friday, February 22 of Anne Dunne (née Finlay) of Roseville, Lower Main Street, Abbeyleix and formerly of Clonduff, Rosenallis. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Brendan and much loved mother of Finola, Lorraine, Cathriona and Aisling. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister and brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home this Saturday from 6pm, with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Sunday to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Kathleen Morrissey - Errill
The death took place on Thursday, February 21 of Kathleen Morrissey (née Treacy) of Castle Gardens Nursing Home, Enniscorthy, and formerly Castlefleming, Errill.
Peacefully in the presence of her loving family, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Martin. Sadly mourned by her family Brigid, Tommy, Agnes, Eamon and Martin, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers Michael and Tommy and her sister Agnes, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Friday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at 11am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of the Universe, Errill followed by burial in St. Kieran's Cemetery, Errill.
Brid Whelan - Portarlington
The death took place on Wednesday, February 20 of Bríd Whelan (née Ryan) of Bishopswood Road and formerly of Marion Hill, Portarlington.
Peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her husband Brian, mother Lill, daughter Clare, sons Brian and Adrian, adored grandchildren Jack, Cian, Liam , Cara, Luke and Ruairí, daughter-in-law Caroline, son-in-law Sean, her six sisters, eight brothers, extended family and friends.
Reposing at her home on Friday from 2pm with Rosary at 8pm. House Strictly Private Saturday Morning. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in St Michael's Church, Portarlington followed by interment immediately afterwards In St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.
