The death took place on Tuesday, March 19 of John (Sean) Quinlan of Abbeycresent, Abbeyleix.
Peacefully. Deeply regretted by his wife Elizabeth, son John, daughters Caroline and Lisa, sons-in-law Jimmy and Raymond, Johns partener Suzanne, grandchildren Aaron, Meghann, Alex, Ben and Josh, brother George, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence from 2pm on Wednesday with Rosary at 8pm. Removal to the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix for 11am. Requiem Mass on Thursday. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Mary Fingleton - Stradbally
The death took place on Tuesday, March 19 of Mary Fingleton of Park Upper, Stradbally.
In the care of the staff of Ballard Lodge Nursing Home. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Sister of the late Lila. Deeply regretted by her family, sisters Kit (Phelan), Nellie (Heery), Bridget Fingleton, and Anne (Sheahan), brothers Jimmy, Tommy, Michael, Anthony and Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her family home from 3pm on Wednesday with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s church Portlaoise for 12 noon requiem Mass. Interment will follow in Ratheniska cemetery.
Michael Murray - Ballyroan
The death took place on Sunday, March 17 of Michael (Mick) Murray of Glenbrook, Ballyroan.
Founder Ballyroan Vintage Club and former Chairman of Colt GAA. Died unexpectedly, on St Patrick's Day. Surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving wife Brigid and son Edward Patrick. Deeply regretted his daughters Breda, Cathy, Carmel, Lorraine and Michelle, sons-in-law Denis, John, Robert, Jim and Liam, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Kathleen and Mary, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in his home from 3pm on Monday and from 3pm on Tuesday. Recital of the Rosary at 9pm on Tuesday night. Funeral arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Wednesday in St Patrick's Church, Ballyroan. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery.
Kieran Kelly - Abbeyleix
The death took place on Saturday, March 16 of Kieran Kelly of Ballacolla road, Abbeyleix.
Peacefully, at his residence in the loving care of his family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bernie, sons Paul, Kieran, and Brian, daughter June, son-in-law Niall, daughters-in-law Paula and Geraldine, grandchildren Charlie, Sophie, Matilda and Oliver, brother-in-law ,sisters -in-law, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence from 2pm on Monday with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
