Deaths in Laois - April 3, 2019

Niall Phelan - Mountrath

The death took place on Monday, April 1 of Niall Phelan of 15 Cluin Inn, Mountrath. 

Sadly missed by his partner Tara, children Aaron, Ella, and Adam, parents Fintan and Cathy, sister Sarah, brother Jason, nephews Conor and Daragh, niece Aoife, extended family and friends. 

Reposing at his home in Cluin Inn on Wednesday evening from 5pm, with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Fintan's Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fintan's Cemetery, Mountrath.

Mary O'Meara - Wolfhill

The death took place on Monday, April 1 of Mary O'Meara (née Dempsey) of 'St. Judes', Borroway, Thurles and formerly Wolfhill. 

Deeply regretted by her  husband Michael, brother Pat, sister Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Private cremation on Wednesday in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. 

Michael Walsh - Durrow 

The death took place on Sunday, March 31 of Michael Walsh of Erkindale Drive, Durrow. 

Predeceased by his wife Betty and brother Martin. Deeply regretted by his  family, sons Brian, David and daughter Sandra, brother Andrew, daughter-in law-Noeleen, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters in law & brothers in law and a large circle of friends. 

 Reposing in Phelans Funeral home, Durrow from 2pm - 9pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, with buriel immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
