Michael Devoy - Stradbally

The death took place on Wednesday, April 10 of Michael Devoy of Corrig, Stradbally. 

Michael passed away peacefully in the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise in the company of his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Mossy and Pat, daughters Kay, Noeleen and Pamela, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday from 8pm. Reposing on Thursday from 2pmwith recital of the Rosary at 8pm on Thursday evening. Arriving to The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Friday morning. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

Brendan Mulhare - Stradbally 

The death took place on Tuesday, April 9 of Brendan Mulhare of Glasnevin, Dublin and Stradbally.

Peacefully in the care of the staff of Beneavin House Nursing Home. Brendan, beloved husband of the late Maureen and loving father of Finian, Máire, Carmel and the late Kevin. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Dessie, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his daughter (Máire) residence on Thursday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas Village for Requiem Mass at 10am following by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Anastasia Phelan - Mountrath

The death took place on Monday, April 8 of Anastasia (Statia) Phelan (née Clooney) of The Golf Links, Knockanina, Mountrath. 

In her 93rd year, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John. Deeply regretted by her sons Dan, John, and Micheal, daughters Mary, Margaret and Statia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Burke's Funeral Home, Mountrath on Thursday evening from 4pm with Removal at 6.30pm to St. Fintan's Church, Mountrath, arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am followed by Burial in St. Fintan's Cemetery, Mountrath.

Hannah Dooley - Coolrain

The death took place on Monday, April 8 of Hannah Dooley (née Farrell) of The Glebe, Coolrain. 

Unexpectedly) at her home, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Denis, mother of Michael and Padraig. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughter-in-law Judy, granddaughters Shauna and Alanna, sister Sheila, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home this Tuesday evening from 6pm, with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Fergal's Church, Camross, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Seamus Sheehan - Portlaoise

The death took place on Friday, April 5 of Seamus Sheehan of Glasnevin, Dublin and late of Portlaoise and Eircom).

Peacefully, in the care of his family and the staff at Beneavin Manor Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Felicity, loving father of Tom, Fiona, Trevor and Lisa and cherished granda to Robyn, Jaime, Carter, Lucas, Lily, Jack and Belle. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Phil and Robin, daughters-in-law Chélynn and Yvonne, brothers Eamon and Frank, sisters Angela and Marie, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Tuesday between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Wednesday to the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass, followed by funeral to Glasnevin Crematorium.
