The death took place on Saturday, December 17 of Mary Rosney (née Conway) of Clonlyon, Clonaslee.
Peacefully, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Dearly loved wife of Philip and cherished mother of Helen, Philip, Linda, Brian and David. She will be very sadly missed by her adored grandchildren, brothers Jodie and John, daughters-in law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. House private after the Rosary. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. Josephine Sweeney - Ballybrophy
The death took place on Friday, December 16 of Josephine (Josie) Sweeney (née Murphy) of Rathmore, Ballybrophy and formerly Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully at home, in her 101st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick and grandchild Tiernan. Beloved mother of Marion Winifred, Margaret, Donal, Mary, Josephine and Ann-Marie. Sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren, brother, sister, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family and friends.
Reposing at her residence (R32 F3F1) from 5pm on Saturday with prayers at 8pm and reposing on Sunday from 2pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 19th at 12 noon in The Church of The Assumption, Killasmeestia, (Borris-in-Ossory parishonline facebook page), followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Cottie Kennedy - Portlaoise
The death took place on Friday, December 16 of Cottie (Catherine) Kennedy (née Deegan) of Kylebrook, Portlaoise and late of Bridge St.

The death took place on Friday, December 16 of Helena O'Rourke (née Maher) of Clontarf, Dublin and formerly Mountrath and Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late Batty (Bart), predeceased by her brother Martin, her grandson Bill, and son-in-law Willie. Much loved mother of Mary, Billy, Bart and Nico, sadly missed by her sons and daughter, sisters Nicky, Terry, Wally, Claire and Kathy, grandchildren James, Yvonne, Helena, Grainne, Kate, Molly, Aoife, Lily and Niamh and son-in-law Johnny, daughters-in-law Clare, Susan, Fiona and Vanessa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at her home in Clontarf, Dublin, on Monday 19th December, from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Gabriel’s Church Dollymount, arriving for 10.30am Requiem Mass, followed by cremation at Glasnevin Cemetery at 12.30pm. Peacefully in the wonderful care of Craddock House Nursing Home, Naas, Co Kildare, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her Husband Donal, Brother Dan, Sisters Bab and Mary. In the company of her family at The Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Predeceased by her dear parents Tom and Sarah and by her loving sisters Elma and Josie. Deeply regretted by her family Mick, Paul, Mark, Geraldine, Lorna, Michelle and Carol, sons -in-law D.J.and Keith, daughter -in-law Jeanette, Pats siblings Michael, Jimmy and his wife Kathleen, Sadie and her husband Eddie, Marion and her husband Denis, Elaine and her husband Noel, grandchildren Stephen, Aoife, Caoimhe, Saoirse, Kasey, Shane, Leon, Conor, Dillon, Sinead, Corey and Ethan, cousins, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.

The death took place on Sunday, December 11 of Shane O'Neill of Church View, Portarlington.
Tragically, following a drowning accident, in Gran Canaria. Sadly missed by his loving wife Martina, family Jack, Cian and Eimhin, father Hugh, mother Trudy, sister Eimear, brother Darragh, parents-in-law Charlie and Louise, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
