Donation to Garda Benevolent Fund

A Portlaoise man has been given the probation act for public order offences.

James Kelly, 2 Ivy Court, Tower Hill, Portlaoise, was convicted of being intoxicated and using threatening behaviour, at Dublin Road, Portlaoise, on October 1 last year.

He had no previous convictions. Judge Catherine Staines ordered that €200 he handed into court go to the Garda Benevolent Fund.
