Creativity will unite with science in Laois for the 2025 edition of the Climate Carnival, where it's hoped climate action solutions will be sparked by 'new connections and courageous conversations'.
Laois County Council is the host organisation for the upcoming Climate Carnival 2025, taking place at Ballintubbert Gardens and House.
In a statement to the Leinster Express / Laois Live the local authority said 500 changemakers from across business, creative, science and activist sectors will unite for a "one-of-a-kind fusion of leadership and action" on September 29 and 30.
The Council said the event, which features ten creative acts and 60 world-class speakers, is designed to "spark new connections, courageous conversations and ignite bold solutions for climate, nature and communities".
While global and national matters are likely to feature, Laois will also take centre stage at the event with a dedicated pavilion highlighting innovative sustainable businesses and organisations from the county. Attendees will also hear from local speakers who will share insights into the impactful programmes and initiatives driving sustainability across Laois.
