Three Laois third level graduates are among over 70 who have joined the ESB's 2025 Technical and Graduate Business Induction development programme.
Matthew Bennett, Robert Wall and Aoife Kealy have chosen the ESB’s Graduate Development Programme to further their careers.
The three enjoyed an induction day recently, meeting other graduates.
The programme is busy recruiting talent to drive innovation and support the delivery of ESB’s Net Zero by 2040 strategy towards environmentally sustainable electricity production.
Throughout the duration of their programme each graduate will receive a range of supports. They will be partnered with individual mentors from within their chosen business unit, and will be given IT equipment and access to allow hybrid working as part of ESB’s smart working offering.
The programme offers each graduate the chance to work on impactful assignments and major projects, gaining hands-on experience across the diverse areas of the organisation.
In all, 73 Irish and international graduates have joined ESB’s award-winning programme for 2025.
They come from both Irish and international third-level institutions, spanning disciplines such as engineering, IT, HR, commercial, marketing, and finance.
Graduates were welcomed to the organisation by Paddy Hayes, ESB Chief Executive at their recent induction.
Sinéad Kilkelly is ESB’s Executive Director, People & Organisation Development.
“At ESB, our graduate programme places a strong emphasis on both professional and personal growth. These graduates have the opportunity to make an impact within the organisation and play their part as we work towards achieving our Net Zero by 2040 target. We look forward to supporting them throughout their journey at ESB and wish them every success as they begin their careers with us," she said.
