The woman appeared before Portlaoise District Court
An elderly woman appeared in court accused of assault and a public order offence in Laois.
Annette Brennan (75) of Graigueaverne House, Ballybrittas is accused of engaging in threatening or abusive behaviour and assault at the Gandon Inn, Cappakeel on December 4, 2021. She is also accused of assault at Lake Road, Ballybrittas on February 3, 2023.
Solicitor Barry Fitzgerald requested a hearing date for the matters at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.
Judge Nicola Andrews fixed a date for hearing at Portlaoise District Court on October 1.
