The local acts who took part in the the Youth Work Ireland Laois / Electric Picnic Creative Youth competition were: Dopamine, Dc Dolls, Just Alice, Los Ka, Katie Roycroft, Cur Dogs, I.F..., Two Hours Late, Barrfite.
The winners of the competition which took place at the Youth Cafe in Portlaoise on Friday, August 26 were: Just Alice who will play on Thursday night, Dc Dolls Winner (winner), Barrfite (support act)who play Saturday night and Two Hours Late (winners) - Cur Dogs (support act) both playing Sunday night.
