Laois lads inTimahoe Male Choir starring in RTÉ  show with The 2 Johnnies

There is no stopping the feelgood Timahoe Male Choir from Laois, who have just revealed that they are to star in a fun RTÉ  television show with comedian presenters The 2 Johnnies.

"We're on the road again!! The 2 Johnnies late night lock in on RTE," the crew announced from Martley's bus on Tuesday evening, October 8.

The community choir who played to packed audiences at Electric Picnic, only formed 11 months ago, and are recording their first EP, preparing for a sold out Christmas charity gig in Portlaoise, and gigs in New York next St Patrick's Day.

The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In is a brand new six-part series to celebrate all things Irish with a lively and unpredictable mix of celebrity guests, live music, silly games, and stand-up comedy.

Each week, the we will be at the helm during an hour of pure chaos. With lots of surprises in store out and about on the streets of Ireland, The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In is the party-in-a-pub everyone will want to be at.

It started on Thursday, October 3 at 9.35pm on RTÉ2 and on RTÉ Player, with the next episode this Thursday, October 10.
