Friday will see headline acts from Midwest Princess Chappel Roan, bringing pink cowboy hats and ballads to Stradbally. The Cowboy Queen will be followed by indie Wicklow legend Hozier, bringing earthy notes and soul to picnickers.

Saturday will star British grunge-rock artist Sam Fender, who gained notoriety from his 2019 breakout song, 'Hypersonic Missiles'. Following Fender will be legendary DJ Fatboy Slim, promising a set of big beats and dance hits.

On Sunday, the legendary Kings of Leon and Becky Hill will close out the festival.

As artists with two very different sounds, Electric Picnic promises something for everyone.

Last week saw three new announcements from Electric Picnic organisers, teasing fans with a taste of what's to come.

The festival's MindField stage will feature stimulating speeches, powerful poetry and captivating conversations with a wide range of A-listers.

Dara Ó Briain, Blindboy Boatclub, Róisín Ingle and more will take to the stage for entertaining and informative discussions.

Laois locals were pleasantly surprised to see one American celebrity's name included in this lineup- Donald Trump's 'latest enemy', comedian and former talk show host Rosie O'Donnell.

This year, the festival’s arena of ideas showcases the creativity, emotional intelligence and human connection that no machine can imitate.

Across six vibrant stages - Leviathan: Political Cabaret, Manifesto, Ah, Hear Podcast, The Theatre, The Word and An Puball Gaeilge  - audiences will experience debate, music, poetry, protest, theatre, podcasts, comedy and culture in its purest, most human form.

Podcasts including Miriam O'Callaghan's Picnic Brunch, The David McWilliams Podcast, The Group Chat from Virgin Media News legends Gavin Reilly, Zara King and Richard Chambers will all feature.

The Croí stage is back by popular demand for its third year running, and organisers have spoiled picnickers for choice with this lineup.

Performers such as David Holmes, Andy Irvine, Brigit Mae Power and David Keenan will take to the stage in Stradbally this August.

As the sun sets, Croí transforms into a fire-lit gathering place pulsing with rhythm, soul and creativity.

Expect conscious celebrations, spontaneous connection, and a soundtrack of Ireland’s most exciting musicians, poets and DJs.
Enjoy healing activities such as Afro Twerk With Lapree Lala -  Somatic Devotion - Techno Yoga With  Naoise - Sound Baths With Emma West, and much more.

The festival's Comedy Arena promises side-splitting shows from some of the UK and Ireland's biggest comedians.
Famous comedians Dara Ó Briain, Foil Arms and Hog and Jarlath Regan will headline the comedy stage, bringing smiles and belly-aching laughter to Laois.

Expect strong sets from the likes of affable Dub Eric Lalor, award winning Hot Young Guys podcasters and comedy gods Killian Sundermann, Shane Daniel Byrne and Tony Cantwell.

Ireland’s ‘Best Kept Comedy Secret’ John Colleary, Bridget and Eamon creator Bernard O’Shea and more will leave you in stitches!
