Portlaoise musician set to perform at Electric Picnic for the first time

Electric Picnic is in the air and Laois musicians are building up to getting their talent out there to an international audience on a local stage.

Portlaoise musician Joseph Rossa, better known as Joe S, has taken advantage of the Electric Picnic opportunity and landed two slots at the Body & Soul Hurly Burly stage.

Get behind the local acts and go see Joe S perform his own original music at 2:30pm and 7:00pm on Sunday.

"This will be my first time performing at the Picnic and it's something I've been working towards for years so I'm very excited to share my music with a new audience," Joe said.

He is a self proclaimed Anti-Folk Singer/Songwriter that has released two major studio projects and toured the country.

Watch a video of Joe performing his own song 'Footsteps of my Father' at the Old Fort Quarter festival in Portlaoise below.
