Gardeners' World star set for Buds and Blossoms summer festival in Laois

Buds and Blossoms is set to return in Laois this summer and the most vibrant and exciting edition staged to date is pormised.

Buds and Blossoms is an annual event held as part of the Laois Garden Festival. It aims to celebrate gardening, horticulture, and community spirit, offering a vibrant showcase of plants, expert advice, local food, and entertainment for all ages. Established as a favourite among gardening enthusiasts, Buds and Blossoms continues to attract visitors from across the country, fostering a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for nature's beauty.

This year's lineup features an array of renowned gardening personalities, including Frances Tophill, presenter of BBC's Gardeners' World, and Karl Wright, the visionary creator behind Caher Bridge Gardens in Co Clare. Adding a local flair to the event is John Jones, Master My Garden, from Crettyard, Co Laois.

Meanwhile, the local ICA Women's group will ensure no one goes hungry with their delectable assortment of home-baked goods, accompanied by steaming cups of tea and coffee, all set to the backdrop of lively live music.
